Cyber bullying is eating children and young adults at the blink of an eye. It implies the impression that on social media and the new advanced technology of present day cyber bullying has become extravagant to do among this age group of people. It seems like everybody has been picked on or even bullied, but with technology children are being oppressed endlessly and it’s having a lasting effect on the children. Children who are at the hands of cyber bullying are affected in many ways. Some of these children find it tough to talk about what is happening to them. In accordance to the bullying statistics, ‘’1 out of 10 teens tells a parent if they have been a cyber-bullying victim.’’ This shows that many teens are not open to talk about them being bullied and it’s mainly to do because they feel hurt or embarrassed. Girls are about twice as likely as boys to be victims and perpetrators of cyber bullying. Many teens are afraid to talk about how they are bullied but those that do say something have a better chance of overcoming this big problem. Victims of cyber bullying have their lives changed due to the constant bullying being done to them. Some of these victims pay the ultimate price of death. These victims are bullied so much and so constantly that they begin to feel unworthy and just want to be away from the pain that their bully is causing them. They commit suicide and to hear that a child has done this or a teen is a very sad story to learn about. The victims that do take their lives have been keeping all of what is happening to them to themselves and not seeking help.
